In Cina there are many significant events that
have taken place over the years. one of the largest events that have taken place is the Cultural Revolution. Political Turmoil
was very present in this preiod of time. It began in 1966, it was approximately 10 years long. Mao Zedong was the person that
headed the idea of the Cultural revolution. During this time period many deaths occured and the costs to China were not calculable.
There were more significant events which
were made up of the four modernisations. in 1987 the four modernisations were implemented by Deng Xiaoping. his idea was to
use capital economics to increase production in China. the four modernisations were made up of Agriculture, industry, science/technology
and defence. This was Deng's idea to the sterlility of China's economics.
After th Cultural revolution four leftists took
power of China's government. Within the four leftists were Mao, his wife, and Qing. Before Mao died he asked for the power
of four to continue to the cultural revolution and with that they did. Now the cultural revolution looks bad which makes the
four powers look corrupt and bad.
In 1949 Nationalists beat the Communists in their civil
war which took place in China. This was a good accomplishment for China.
